SANDRIDGE BARTON WINERY STOKE GABRIEL
Nestled in a picturesque valley in the South Hams, Sharpham Wines, Sandridge Barton appointed Alliance to renovate 2 dilapidated barns into one of Stoke Gabriels’ finest destinations. With a brand-new restaurant, Gallery, winery store and conference area it’s no wonder why so many people are flocking to Sandridge Barton to enjoy the experience all year round.
Being sympathetic to the historic nature of the site, every effort was made to keep the original features; reusing the historic beams, repurposing timbers and leaving the stonework exposed to create a warm and rustic finish, adding charm and character to every corner of the site. New Cor-Ten roofing sheets were installed to the Gallery Barn, keeping in with the industrial aesthetic.
It was a privilege to deliver this superb scheme for a wonderful client and wish Sharpham Wines every success.
